PREFA celebrates 15 successful years in the Czech market

The company PREFA Aluminiumprodukte s.r.o. is celebrating its 15th anniversary of operations in the Czech market this year. During this time, it has established itself as a strong player in the field of quality roofing materials and façade elements. Aluminum roofing is currently a modern trend. The reason is high quality and exceptional design.

PREFA aluminum elements are becoming increasingly popular. This is due to the quality, non-corrosive, and nearly indestructible material, a wide range of colors, and good processability when laying on any shape or slope of the roof or façade surface. Other significant arguments, in addition to low weight and a complete integrated system, are the architecturally clean lines and geometrically precise appearance of the laid surface. All PREFA roofing materials are supplied in a palette of the highest quality P.10 matte colors with a 40-year guarantee on color permanence. Over the past 15 years, more than ten thousand investors across the Czech Republic, in mountainous and foothill areas, as well as in urban agglomerations, have been convinced of all these mentioned advantages.

One of the first domestic PREFA realizations was in 2004, the reconstruction of the roof of the Hořec mountain hotel in Pec pod Sněžkou, which received the METALSTAR 2004 award for the best metal roofing at the Střechy Praha fair (PREFA standing seam shingle, rezedová zeleň) and its detail. The FX.12 roofing and façade panel then won the award for the best exhibit at the Střechy Praha 2012 fair called "Golden Tile 2012" eight years later. In addition to numerous awards and patented technical solutions, PREFA Aluminiumprodukte can also boast exceptional consulting services for architects, designers, contractors, and an annual training program for roofers and tilers called PREFA Academy, which has already been attended by more than 1000 participants over its entire operation.

For this year, PREFA will offer its clients a new product - the PREFA roofing shingle DS.19, which was first introduced at the Střechy Praha 2019 exhibition. This unique product will be available for sale starting April 1, 2019.
