The challenge of seamlessly and as practically as possible combining a living space for a family of five with a separate work area was addressed in an extraordinary way by the architectural office Engelshove. The living and working areas are visually and formally separated by the tiered arrangement of two building structures and the use of different façade materials. In contrast, the unifying feature is the large-format glazing and entrance doors made from the Schüco aluminum system.
