The technical room is today a part of almost every modern family home. It can hide unsightly but necessary appliances for the operation of the house, unfortunately at the cost of valuable living space. Have you thought about how you would use the space if all the technology could fit into a compact wall with a maximum depth of 28 centimeters?

Can you imagine having enough space in your technical room to use the area as a relaxation spot with a sauna, for example? Thanks to the Viessmann Invisible modular system, these ideas can become a reality. The system represents a compact pre-wall installation that accommodates the latest-generation Vitocal heat pump, an optional ventilation module, a hot water storage tank, and a complete set of accessories including all the piping. The module is designed for homes with a heated living area of up to 200 square meters.

Variable Installation Options

The standardized, factory-configured Viessmann Invisible modules allow for versatile installation options and provide architects and builders with the freedom to design the house's floor plan. The modules can be installed with either a white cover or custom-designed front and side walls in a wide range of materials, such as wood or kitchen or mirror surfaces. The modules can be placed side by side, as a block, around a corner, or side by side in a designated recess in the entrance hall. If you choose block installation, you can use the empty ends of walls, standalone walls, or separate rooms. Where rooms are small and full of various nooks, corner installation often opens up new living space, such as when modernizing older buildings. All Viessmann Invisible modules are delivered pre-assembled, making installation and interconnection simple.

Efficient Heating with the Vitocal Heat Pump

The central element of this innovative solution is the Vitocal 222-SI heat pump module (air/water type) with a capacity between 2.6 and 9.0 kW. The pump has high efficiency – the COP (coefficient of performance) reaches up to 5.0 (at A7/W35 according to ČSN EN 14511), ensuring cost-effective heat production (energy efficiency A++). The heat pump is also available in a variant that can be used as a cooling system during hot summer days. The module also accommodates a 250-liter hot water storage tank.

Ventilation with Heat Recovery

The Viessmann Invisible system also includes the Vitoair FSI ventilation module with high energy efficiency and a maximum flow rate of 300 cubic meters per hour. The counterflow enthalpic heat exchanger recovers up to 80 percent of the heat from the exhaust air, as well as moisture, and supplies it back into the interior with fresh incoming air through the click-and-go air distribution system. This brings benefits for the health and wallets of the residents, as well as for the building structure.

Unlike a conventional technical room (left), the heat pump, hot water storage tank, and optional home ventilation system are hidden behind a flat wall due to the Viessmann Invisible system.

Maximum Self-Sufficiency

To maximize independence from the public power grid, the Viessmann Invisible can be operated for a large part of the day using the electricity produced from Vitovolt photovoltaic modules. The Vitocharge VX3 battery storage stores surplus electricity generated during the day for evening and nighttime use and can also supply a charging station for electric vehicles.

Higher Efficiency Through Energy Management System

The free ViCare app allows users to conveniently control their system using a smartphone. The app includes an Energy Management system that also tracks energy flows between the heat pump, ventilation unit, battery storage, and charging station, giving users continuous insight into energy production and consumption. Most importantly, the energy management system is utilized by the control systems of the heat pump module and battery storage to ensure efficient operation. This enables the operation of the system in a way that conserves resources and reduces costs.

Simple Startup, Monitoring, and Service

Bringing the Viessmann Invisible system into operation, monitoring it, and servicing it are just as simple and time-efficient as planning and installation. The Viessmann One Base platform connects all components together and simultaneously links them to digital services, such as the free ViGuide tool, creating a unified energy and climate control system. ViGuide allows for bringing the system into operation in a very short time, fully monitoring it through remote connection, and conducting service if needed, without having to summon someone to the system each time. Specialized partners save a lot of time while their customers can continuously enjoy maximum comfort, energy efficiency, and reliability of the systems.
