It has been almost 60 years since Hager began producing high-quality products in the field of electrical installation. Since 1995, it has offered complete solutions for electrical installations for residential and commercial construction, as well as everything that contributes to safer, more comfortable, and more economical electrical installations, also in the Czech market – from switchboard systems to cable management systems to building automation. The Czech Hager team is a partner for reliable solutions that you can trust not only for wholesalers but also for end customers such as architects and designers.

A milestone for Hager in the Czech Republic came in 2012 when it expanded its offering to include Berker by Hager products and increased its activity in the field of building automation. “These are premium switching programs, whose quality, aesthetics, and functionality not only enhance any room but also increase the comfort of your living,” explains Thomas Grund, General Director of Hager for the Czech Republic. The switches are characterized by a diversity of shapes, colors, and materials – from glass and aluminum to stainless steel to unconventional materials such as concrete, slate, leather, or acrylic. The wide selection allows for dozens of combinations, making the switches suitable for every interior, adds Thomas.

Exceptional references
International juries have awarded these switches many design awards. It is no wonder that we find them in breathtaking buildings around the world. An outstanding example is the Tugendhat Villa in Brno, an icon of the Bauhaus period. The construction of this magnificent building overlooking Old Brno was commissioned in the late 1920s by factory director Fritz Tugendhat from architect Ludwig Mies van der Rohe. After a "turbulent" history, during which many political regimes took turns, the villa was listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2001 and has been open to the public since 2012. The round switching programs, classic Berker Serie Glas, and Berker Serie 1930 fit perfectly into the villa due to their clean shape and simple functionality.
