Třebíč - The Vysočina Region will improve the specialized classrooms and facilities for practical training of future chefs, waiters, confectioners, and hairdressers at Bráf's Academy in Třebíč. A construction company has been selected for the renovation of the secondary school premises, which will complete the work for 77 million crowns excluding value-added tax. This was the lowest offered price. The construction will take place in a way that minimally disrupts the school's operations. The region stated this on its website.

"If everything goes according to plan, work will begin in the coming days and is expected to be completed within 15 months of handing over the construction site," said Governor Martin Kukla (ANO).

The reconstruction will involve not only the specialized classrooms and facilities for practical training but also the social facilities, electrical installations, air conditioning, and entrance areas of the school. The project also includes equipping the specialized workplaces.

Bráf's Academy with a language school is one of the largest schools in the region. Education focuses on business, gastronomy, tourism, and associated services. In the previous school year, the school had over 1,000 students who were educated in six subjects with a graduation exam and in six vocational fields. The school has six buildings and operates not only in Třebíč but also in Náměšť nad Oslavou.
