The Peace in the Landscape by Jan Šépka has won the A’Design Award

The Modrava chair and table have stood out in design at a world-class level. The company MY DVA group a.s. together with the author of the work, architect Jan Šépka, received the Bronze A' Design Award Winner in the category of Furniture Design, Decorative Items, and Household Goods for the year 2011-12.
The A’Design Award & Competition is a world-renowned Italian design competition aimed at highlighting the outstanding qualifications of the best designs, and design and construction concepts oriented products and services.
The competition is held annually and winners are announced from a total of 40 main categories. The project “Modrava chair and table” successfully placed third in its category out of a total of 11,500 submitted designs!
In a world where millions of new products and design concepts are created every year, the A‘Design Award was born out of the desire to support and showcase only the best designs and well-designed products.
All awarded products, including the Modrava chair and table, are available for public viewing through an exhibition in the Italian city of Como from June 17 to July 1, 2012, at Piazza Del Duomo, 22100, Como, Italy.
