The exhibition of the international office EEA 'Designed by Erick van Egeraat' will be opened on September 4, 2007, at 7 PM at the Jaroslav Fragner Gallery in Prague and will present forty projects designed or realized mostly during the last 4 years.
A larger part of the exhibition is traveling and has arrived from Budapest via Leipzig, where it was presented this spring. Through the installation of several screens and physical models made from laser-etched glass, it highlights the resemblance between the initial sketch by Erick van Egeraat and the final design.
The second part of the exhibition focuses more closely on the project of the main building and auditorium of the University of Leipzig, which EEA Prague is currently working on and which is expected to be completed in 2009.
The exhibition will conclude with a lecture by Erick van Egeraat.
