Among his most famous projects are the Jewish Museum in San Francisco, the City Museum in Osnabrück, the new wing of the Victoria and Albert Museum in London, and extensions to museums in Denver and Toronto. His plans also led to the creation of the Jewish Museum in Berlin, and he is the author behind the reconstruction of Ground Zero, where the skyscrapers of New York's World Trade Center (WTC) stood until September 2001. However, he distanced himself from this project due to later interventions.
