For the upcoming exhibition Contemplating the Void: Interventions in the Guggenheim Museum Rotunda, the curators of the New York Guggenheim Museum invited 250 artists, architects, and designers to submit their ideas on how to engage with the central rotunda designed by F. L. Wright. Architect Julien De Smedt (JDS) created a design that has a strong chance of being realized. A spirally deployed orange trampoline descends from the top of the rotunda, inviting visitors to take action.
