Brno - In Brno, a shield wall of an uninhabited house on Havránková Street in Dolní Heršpice likely collapsed due to heavy rain. No one was injured in the incident, which occurred around 2:00 PM. Debris fell onto the road and was immediately cleared away. The house is slated for demolition, said Zdeněk Novák, a spokesperson for the city police.
    Persistent rain is causing problems in Brno's traffic. On Hradecká Street, which serves as the main route to Svitavy, half a meter of water has accumulated under the bridge. Traffic has been diverted to one lane. Similar issues are present under the bridge on Vídeňská Street.
    Firefighters are also very busy. Today they were dispatched to 20 locations to remove uprooted trees, fallen branches, and to pump out flooded areas. In Brno, they pumped water from the area near the loading ramp of the Bauhaus department store on Heršpická Street and from the archive of the regional court on Husova Street. In Drnovice, in the Vyškov area, they were cleaning the road of mud.
