The Club for Old Prague will award the prize for a new building in a historical environment for the sixth time.
In 2009, five buildings were nominated for the award:

1. Hotel Karlov in Benešov (architects Ladislav Lábus- Jiří Poláček-Václav Škarda)
2. Multipurpose building complex on Pražská Street in Kolín (Jiří Košťál-Jiří Slaba-Jana Chmelová-Jaroslav Procházka)
3. Family house in Nýřany (Kryštof Štulc-Jan Klempíř)
4. The National Technical Library in Prague-Dejvice (Roman Brychta-Adam Halíř-Ondřej Hofmeister-Petr Lešek, Václav Králíček)
5. Zlaté Jablko Shopping Center in Zlín (Svatopluk Sládeček, co-authors Ivan Bergmann-Pavel Mudřík).

The winner of this year's award will be announced by the Club on Tuesday, June 23, 2009, at 6 PM in the Mlýnská café in Prague at Kampa.
