The Faculty of Architecture of the Czech Technical University in Prague invites you to an exhibition of studio projects from the summer semester, which takes place in the New Building of the Czech Technical University, Thákurova 9, Prague 6 until Monday, June 15, 2015. A total of 57 studios on seven floors present the results of semester projects by students of the Architecture and Design study programs.

At the Faculty of Architecture, a large part of the study is conducted through teaching on specific projects developed in studios. Each semester, students can choose from over 200 assignments on current topics in the fields of housing, urban planning, design, landscape creation, and gardening. They can also choose the supervisor of their work, who are leading architects, urban planners, and designers from the Czech Republic and abroad.
First-year students of Architecture and Urbanism are exhibiting their projects in the classrooms on the 2nd floor. The work of undergraduate and graduate students in this field is presented on the 5th to 7th floors. The examination projects of Industrial Design students can be found on the 4th and 5th floors and in the plaster workshop in the basement. Among them are also two projects that were nominated as one of the 30 best works in the international packaging design competition Young Package 2015.

In the right hall on the ground floor of the building, you will find designs created by first-year students under the guidance of visiting Swiss architect Prof. Pierre Von Meisse. Noteworthy is the installation of projects for the New Building of the National Gallery, which the students of the Císler studio conceived as a classical gallery, the glowing colored models in the Hájek studio, or minimal housing presented through maximum models by students of the Hlaváček, Schleger, Liesler studio.

Entrance to the building is free; it is open on weekdays from 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, June 13, when the Faculty of Architecture hosts an Open House Day and the Prague Museum Night.
