Olomouc - The development company Hopr Group has completed the renovation of a former silo near the center of Olomouc into an administrative building. The reconstruction of the long-unused silo near the Olomouc-město train station began last spring and cost approximately 45 million crowns. Project manager Vladimír Porteš from Hopr Group told ČTK that the silo has been converted into a five-story administrative building, with the individual floors corresponding to the height of the 11th to 15th floors. The new building, named Silo Tower, offers an office space of 1000 m². "The construction is completed, and in the coming days, the first tenants are beginning to move in. We have already rented out two-thirds of the space," Porteš stated. He attributed the high interest of companies in renting offices in the Silo Tower to its uniqueness and excellent location in close proximity to the historic city center and the town hall. According to Porteš, the administrative building built on the foundations of the former silo is unique in the Czech Republic. "I am not aware of a similar project," the manager noted. The availability of administrative space in Olomouc is gradually increasing. For instance, last year, the company CPI opened a new multifunctional complex CPI City Center Olomouc near the main train station, which has a total of 6700 m² of office space. New offices are also available in the BEA center complex or in the renovated Salm Palace building in the historic center of Olomouc. Further administrative complexes are being prepared for construction in Olomouc. Two six-story administrative buildings named Nová Envelopa are to be built near the intersection of Kosmonautů and Wittgensteinova streets. The investor is the company CS Property Private.
