Conference

Housing continues to be increasingly among the leading topics not only in the Czech Republic but also across the entire European space. The deteriorating availability of housing brings greater pressure on the efficiency and quality of planning and construction itself in the context of sustainable development needs. At this year's reVize Typology conference, leading European and Czech experts in the field of housing, economists, and architects will present. In their presentations and discussions, they will focus on the key challenges facing contemporary housing. Emphasis will be placed on questions whose understanding is essential, particularly for urban planners, architects, and designers, given the growing need for affordable and quality housing. The conference is organized by the Department of Building Science at the Faculty of Architecture of the Czech Technical University in Prague in cooperation with IPR Prague and the State Fund for Investment Support (SFPI).

What will the conference focus on in more detail?
- Availability of housing
- Contemporary housing topics (housing policies, participatory housing, suburbs, involvement of sociologists and social geographers)
- Quality of housing (evaluation criteria, standards and regulations, accessibility)
