Student workshop Ideal Žďár will focus on current issues of the city related to the development of its architecture and urbanism. The workshop will take place in Žďár nad Sázavou in the form of a week-long project by university architecture students. It will involve getting to know the very organism of the city and its urban-architectural structure, with the aim of coming up with proposals that will seek "Ideal" solutions to specific problems observed in various locations. Students will be able to choose from topics they find interesting and relevant, which they will work on under the guidance of experienced instructors—architects—and present their solutions at the end of the workshop. Their work will ultimately be confronted not only with the views of the local public and local architects but also with other experts—historians, theorists, and others. An exhibition will be created from the projects, which will be presented to the public. Interesting and inspiring ideas may serve as inspiration for the implementation of specific concepts.
