Archive of Affinities or How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love Postmodernism
On Monday, May 21, 2018, at the main hall of the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague, architect Andrew Kovacs (University of California, Los Angeles) will speak starting at 4:30 PM about his work and the role his platform "Archive of Affinities" plays in it, where he focuses on so-called architectural B-sides, or the hidden sides of architecture. The guest lecture concludes the semester of the architecture theory course Pride and Prejudice 2017/2018 and is a collaborative project organized by the Department of Theory and History of Art at the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague and the cultural space PRAHA / Forum for Architecture and Media in Brno. The lecture will be introduced by Maria Topolcanska.
