On Wednesday, April 12, 2017, at 6:00 PM, the second lecture of this year's cycle “What is Architecture?” will take place at the Faculty of Civil Engineering CTU in Prague, Thákurova 7, featuring architect Jaroslav Zima from the atelier D3A. The projects of this office can be described as some of the most original and interesting from the Czech “meadows and groves.” Jaroslav Zima specializes in urbanism, public spaces, and their interrelations.
Jaroslav Zima (*1961) 1976-80 SPŠ Stavební in Hradec Králové, 1980-85 studied at the Faculty of Architecture CTU in Prague, 1985-86 worked at the Prague Project Institute, 1985-86 military service, 1986-97 was a founding member of D.A.Studio, since 1993 he has been a member of the Czech Chamber of Architects, and since 1997 he has been the head of the architectural office D3A spol. s r.o.
