We invite you to the November Talks2022 at the Faculty of Architecture CTU, where on Monday, November 14, 2022, at 6:00 PM, French urban planner Alice Cabaret will give a lecture. Her presentation will focus on the connection between urbanism and other fields, such as neuroscience or pop culture, and will offer new perspectives on the development of urban environments.
Alice Cabaret is a French urban planner with international experience in urban transformation. She is the founder of The Street Society, a creative urban agency based in Paris, and co-founder of the initiative [S]CITY, which focuses on exploring the connection between neuroscience and urbanism. In her practice, she focuses on the realization of urban projects, spatial activations, modernization of public spaces, urban research, and curatorial work.
“At a time when cities account for approximately 70% of global emissions, architects and urbanism experts are on the front lines of the fight against climate change. This requires a radical change in approach. It is necessary to abandon established ideas and restrictive norms in urban development to create space for new values,” says Alice Cabaret.
