On Thursday, November 23, 2017, a lecture by Vasa J. Perović (bevk perović arhitekti), one of the foreign judges of the Czech Architecture Award 2017 and visiting professor at the Faculty of Architecture CTU in Prague for the upcoming academic year, will take place.
The lecture will be held at the Faculty of Architecture CTU, Thákurova 9, Prague 6 – Dejvice, room no. 152/153 (aquarium) starting at 6:00 PM. The event is organized by the Czech Chamber of Architects, Karlín Group, and the FA CTU.
The architectural firm bevk perović arhitekti was founded in 1997 by Matija Bevk and Vasa J. Perović. The international team, consisting of 15 architects, is one of the leading architectural firms in Slovenia.
The studio's works have been awarded the Plečnik Prize for Architecture five times (Slovenia's most prestigious architectural award), the Mies van der Rohe Award (2007, Faculty of Mathematics, Ljubljana), and the Kunstpreis Berlin (2006, awarded by the Berlin Academy of Arts). In 2012, a monographic issue of the prestigious magazine El Croquis 160: Bevk Perović 2004–2012 Condicionalismo was dedicated to the work of bevk perovic arhitekti (2012).
In Prague, the office presented an exhibition titled Blow up at the Jaroslav Fragner Gallery (2012).

Vasa J. Perović, DI Arch., MA (BIA) (*1965 Belgrade) 1992 - graduated from the Faculty of Architecture at the University of Belgrade, 1992-94 - studied at the Berlage Institute of Architecture, the Netherlands, 2010 - professor at the Faculty of Architecture at the University of Ljubljana, visiting professor (University of Applied Sciences, Bochum, Germany; University of Navarra, Pamplona, Spain; Technical University Vienna, Austria, etc.)
