The lecture cycle this year consists of remarkable names from the contemporary Norwegian architectural scene. Reflections on architecture aim to stimulate discussion about current architectural developments for the fifth year. This year, the lecture cycle is part of the project Empathy in Art, which is reflected in the selection of guests. Architects of various specialties will present their work that is empathetic towards individuals, society, and the environment. The guests will show us the different roles of the architect in today's world. All lectures will be streamed on Facebook. The stream starts every time at 18:00. You can participate in the discussion by commenting under the video.

10.11. Martin Beverfjord / Rever & Drage
Rever & Drage is an architectural firm consisting of three architects based in Oslo with a branch in Flekkefjord. Their architecture is a mastery of recycling. The houses that emerge this way are collages of diverse elements, somewhere between humor and seriousness.
10.25. Tormod Amundsen / Biotope

Since 2009, architects from the Biotope studio have been designing small-scale architecture for outdoor activities. Most of their shelters are designed for birdwatching and provide only utilitarian protection for humans in the Arctic environment. Small buildings for great experiences.
11.08. Beate Hølmebakk / Manthey Kula

Manthey Kula is a Norwegian architectural office founded in 2004 by Beate Hølmebakk and Per Tamsen. It mainly focuses on form, its significance, and narrativity. Their realizations are always thoroughly considered interventions. They rely on conceptual argumentation.
11.15. Einar Hagem / Lundhagem
Lundhagem is a studio of architecture and urbanism based in Oslo. It was established in 1990 and today employs 60 people. Projects from Lundhagem combine the latest technological advances with sustainability and craftsmanship tradition. Their freshly completed Central Library in Oslo is currently resonating.
11.29. Espen Rahlff / 3RW arkitekter
3RW arkitekter is an office based in Bergen with a playful portfolio built on practical experience, engaged socio-cultural work, and creativity. They are interested in the creation and strengthening of regional urban culture. Projects of various scales are underpinned by theoretical research.
12.06. Jette Cathrin Hopp / Snøhetta
Snøhetta is the brightest star in Norwegian architecture; the lecture cycle would hardly do without this name. The studio started as a small workshop and although it now employs 280 people from around the world, it remains true to the principles and values it set at the beginning. Their business development director will come to talk about business strategy.

The lecture cycle Reflections on Architecture is realized as part of the EMIA: Empathy in Art project. The project is funded by the EEA Grants and the state budget of the Slovak Republic.
