Reflection on Architecture 2019 - Verena von Beckerath

On Monday, December 2, 2019, at 5:00 PM, Berlin architect Verena von Beckerath from the Berlin studio Heide & von Beckerath will give a lecture as part of the lecture series Reflections on Architecture 2019. The lecture will take place at the Faculty of Architecture STU in Bratislava, Námestie Slobody 19, in room no. 119.

The Reflections on Architecture series represents a unique open communication platform between the academic environment, representatives of contemporary architecture, and the public. It aims to raise awareness of architecture and its impact on the physical environment and to enhance the level of architectural discussion in Slovakia. In 2019, the series will present the contemporary German architectural scene, which is particularly inspiring for the Slovak one. It will focus on its broader social, historical, and geographical contexts, addressing specific local or regional manifestations. It will introduce architects who represent all active creative generations and the most important trends in contemporary German architecture. Moderated discussions with the audience are part of the architects' presentations.
