Vladimír's bookstore Serius and the civic association PLAC cordially invite you to the 39th lecture in the series "printed architecture." This time, on Friday, May 12, 2017, at 6:30 PM in Jablonec nad Nisou, we will welcome architect and popularizer of quality architecture Tomáš Zdvihal. The lecture will focus on the two-volume book Guide to Architecture of Public Buildings in Upper Austria and South Bohemia – Examples of Good Practice from 1990-2016. The publication is the result of several years of work by the CBArchitektura association.

Tomáš Zdvihal (*1986) studied architecture at the Faculty of Art and Architecture of the Technical University of Liberec. He gained experience with several prominent Czech architects. Since 2012, he has been collaborating with Michal Fišer in the association Three Architects. In 2011, he co-founded the CBArchitektura association in České Budějovice with Mirek Vodák - an informal association of architects who feel an unspoken responsibility towards their city and region and seek to influence both its current form and the discussion about long-term visions. In his free time, he is an avid runner.
