Sandblasted Concrete Elements: Aesthetics and Safety in One

For this project, we manufactured several types of concrete prefabricates, including custom-made elements:

• Sandblasted Large-format Tiles – Used to create walkways and other areas around the pools. The sandblasted surface not only enhances the elegant appearance but primarily ensures a key feature – slip resistance.
• Step Elements – Designed with an emphasis on comfort, safety, and aesthetic integration into the overall pool concept. The sandblasted surface provides slip resistance even in increased humidity.
• Custom Atypical Concrete Prefabricates – Specially designed details and structures that meet the requirements of architects and designers, giving the entire facility a unique character and high visual appeal.

The Combination of Design and Functionality

Sandblasting is an ideal surface treatment for public spaces - it not only gives concrete a fine texture and highlights its aesthetic qualities, but also contributes to the safety and comfort of users. Additionally, sandblasted surfaces require minimal maintenance, which is a crucial advantage for high-traffic areas.

Close Collaboration with Architects and Designers

We carry out every project in close collaboration with architects and designers. The reconstruction of the swimming pool in Wels was no exception – together with the project team, we ensured that our concrete elements met not only technical parameters but also the aesthetic vision of the design authors.
