The architectural studio K4 combined several types of facades in their design for the individual buildings. For the administrative building adjacent to the dominant hotel, the authors proposed a playful facade made of fiber cement panels Cembrit Cembonit. The facade features a natural appearance of the fiber cement panels combined with a smooth surface of metal and glass window fillings.

An impressive appearance of the facade, without visible fastening elements, was achieved through the use of the hidden anchoring technology from the company ILTEGRO. The ITG-Q system was utilized, where the panels are attached to aluminum frames in the workshop and then assembled on the construction site with pre-assembled parts and the frame mounted on the facade of the building.

It is a double aluminum frame with rectification and the possibility of expansion. The installation of the facade took place in winter, which is why this type of hidden anchoring with adhesive in the workshop was chosen. This method allowed for maximum precision and accuracy in processing and gluing the panels, which is very well evident in the final appearance of the facade.

Cembrit Cembonit is a solid facade panel with an authentic natural appearance, emphasized by subtle variations in shade across the surface of the panel, which create various light reflections on the facade and bring it even closer to a purely natural material. Over its lifetime, these subtle nuances develop as the surface naturally ages. The manufacturing process of the mass-colored panels ensures a unique surface treatment, making them resistant to external moisture and dirt. The composition of the panel guarantees a long-lasting and durable facade.
Facade panels Cembonit are available in 11 subtle colors. They are intended for the final layer of ventilated facades, cladding of cornices, columns, ceilings, etc. Their use is not limited to exteriors, as their excellent mechanical properties also apply in interiors.

Hidden anchoring ILTEGRO ITG-Q
The fastening of facade panels by gluing is one way to attach facade materials without an apparent – visible joint. Gluing is an alternative to mechanical hidden fastening of facades using rear brackets. Gluing cannot be used always and everywhere, and it is necessary to adhere to the principles for this type of fastening. This system is particularly used for fastening compact panels, composite and some types of fiber cement panels (Cembrit), as well as ceramic and stone cladding.
