The installation of concealed frames allows only the important part – the door leaf – to be visible. Other elements such as frames or hinges remain hidden and do not disturb the uniform line of the wall and doors. The door space thus supports the overall character of the interior, whether it’s an apartment, house, office, or a public building.

Thanks to the standard thickness of 52 mm, the internal structure can be changed to achieve acoustic attenuation of up to 37 dB.

The Silent Beauty of Fortius Acoustic Doors

Sound insulation is appreciated not only by homeowners for separating the quiet zone from everyday spaces, but also by commercial investors for soundproofing selected offices or meeting rooms. Acoustic attenuation of Rw 27 to 37 dB is achieved through the use of an automatic threshold strip and modifications to the internal structure. Acoustic doors can be designed to a height of 3500 mm, meaning they can reach the ceiling of most interiors. The thickness of 52 mm in combination with a robust construction offers the option of premium accessories – e.g., concealed self-closing devices, door stops, and electric opening.

Standards met by FORTIUS EI 30

Fire doors FORTIUS EI 30 with resistance EI/EW 30 DP3-C are certified for the Czech Republic and Slovakia with a fire resistance of 30 minutes. They can be equipped with card locks for hotels and administrative buildings, and in versions with a panic lock can be utilized according to the requirements of standard EN 179.

With a height of up to 2600 mm (in limited cases up to 2900 mm) and a width of up to 1050 mm, they are considered premium in the fire door segment. The concealed frame is anchored using turbo screws through a metal bracket secured to the frame of the door frame, and the gap around the frame is sealed with PUR foam of the appropriate resistance (standard, fire-resistant).

Fortius Safety RC2 security doors protect your privacy with a 6-point locking system. Additionally, on the hinge side of the frame, securing pins against door removal are installed, fitting into the frame's counter-plate.

The Fortius Safety RC2 system is also available in a variant with sound insulation up to Rw 33 dB and fire resistance EI/EW 30 DP3; with a passage height of up to 2600 mm. Peepholes or kick plates can be mounted on the doors.
