VECTIS toggle switches: minimalist in shape and colors

Decent aluminum panel, unconventional lever control, timeless metallic shades. The VECTIS collection of home electrical installations from Zlín's OBZOR offers a sober design and maximum simplicity, which is reflected in the way they are installed.

The idea for creating the collection of home switches controlled by a lever was initiated by interest from abroad. Its basis was a relatively common type of control in the past, which has now become almost forgotten. The VECTIS switches, whose name comes from the Latin translation of the word "lever," thus revived the previously popular lever control, accompanied by a contemporary appearance emphasizing simple elegance.

The collection features a thin panel made of solid aluminum in two shape variations. "The austere angular lines of VECTIS and the gentle round shape of VECTIS ROUND fit into the interior of any style and color scheme, as they are equally available in seven shades: white matte, black matte, golden patina, and in brushed finishes of copper, titanium, aluminum, and gold," states Martina Obadalová, marketing manager of OBZOR Zlín.

VECTIS lever switches can be equipped with one or two control levers positioned in the center of the uniform aluminum panel. Their easy operation is ensured by a classic toggle mechanism – the levers switch in a vertical direction. They are made of zinc with a powder coating and offer a total of five color options – white, black, gold, patina, and chrome. The socket covers are available in shades of white, black, gold, titanium, graphite, and aluminum. This way, the collection offers a wide variety of different color combinations.

Both round and square VECTIS and VECTIS ROUND panels additionally allow for quadruple configurations, in both horizontal and vertical arrangements. "You can group not only switches of varying configurations and sockets in one frame but also other devices available in this collection, such as a blind controller or communication sockets with USB, HDMI, TV, and SAT connectors," adds Martina Obadalová from OBZOR.

The product range is characterized not only by its decent appearance but also by a groundbreaking, completely simple method of installation. The VECTIS viewing panels are magnetic, so they can simply be attached to the device, all without the need for screwdrivers or any fastening materials.
