Easy transport and storage in a small space - these are some of the main benefits of the folding construction pocket PROFIKIT.
The construction of the folding pocket is designed to be delivered to the site in a disassembled state and thus in a easily transportable package. Unlike a classic construction pocket, PROFIKIT consists of individual parts and does not have a fixed side panel. "When stored and loaded, it takes up to 6 times less space than a regular construction pocket. And this is one of the main reasons why the construction pocket PROFIKIT was created," explains Petr Paksi, sales director of J.A.P., the only Czech manufacturer of construction pockets. The assembly of the pocket itself takes place directly on the construction site, and it is not complicated - everything works on the principle of simple insertion and snapping of pre-prepared connections.
The construction pocket PROFIKIT can only be used for drywall partitions with a finished thickness of 100 and 125 mm. Similar to the classic pocket, PROFIKIT also does not have a load-bearing function.
Both wooden and full glass doors can slide into the PROFIKIT pocket - the pocket is additionally compatible with all door manufacturers. Depending on whether the door is single or double-leaf, a specific type of pocket is chosen.
Construction Pocket PROFIKIT STANDARD
Designed for single-leaf sliding doors. The standard height of the passage is 1970 and 2100 mm. The standard width of the clear passage after the installation of the frames ranges from 600 to 1200 mm. Atypical dimensions of the pocket are not manufactured.
Construction Pocket PROFIKIT KOMFORT
Designed for double-leaf sliding doors. It consists of two construction pockets connected by an upper guide rail. The doors slide out against each other. Closing or opening the doors can also be synchronous, with synchronous operation already included in the price. The standard height of the passage is again 1970 and 2100 mm. The standard width of the clear passage after the installation of the frames ranges from 1250 to 2450 mm. Atypical dimensions of the pocket are not manufactured.
For both types of pockets, a silent stop for gradually closing the doors can also be purchased. Of course, there is a high-quality running mechanism and adjustable front and rear stops.

"Our goal was to minimize the transport dimensions of the pocket. You will appreciate PROFIKIT, for example, when dealing with a reconstruction in small spaces with poor access routes. A typical example is panel apartment buildings with narrow hallways and sometimes even the absence of an elevator, where delivering a classic pocket may pose a problem," concludes Petr Paksi.
