The innovative folding table yuno from Wiesner-Hager rightfully received the internationally recognized Red Dot Award 2017. The award is granted based on the decision of a jury of approximately 40 independent designers, design educators, and journalists who tested, evaluated, and consulted on 5,500 submitted products from 54 countries.
"The Red Dot Award has delighted us greatly. In addition to the honor we received for the yuno table a few weeks ago at the European Product Design Awards 2017, this award further confirms the high quality of our product designs. It validates the direction of our strategy, which we rely on and that is based on differentiating products precisely by their design!" stated Markus Wiesner, CEO of Wiesner-Hager.
At Wiesner-Hager, design is understood as a combination of top-notch design and innovative functionality of furniture. The yuno table stands out with its simplified design in conjunction with a sophisticated technological concept. It features the benefits of a folding table while avoiding traditional disadvantages: the table itself does not fold, which significantly saves time during assembly and disassembly. However, its unique construction allows for compact stacking of tables on top of each other, saving a lot of space during storage.
Especially practical: one person can manage the yuno table. To make handling it even easier, it has small wheels installed directly in the feet, which allow it to be moved. Therefore, the tables do not need to be carried from one place to another - they can simply be tilted to the side and rolled to the desired location. Thanks to a specially designed trolley for stacking the tables and these wheels, only one person is needed for stacking and moving yuno tables.
Wiesner-Hager has previously received the Red Dot Award for the yuno table. The folding table emerged from the design workshop of Andreas Kroba (B4K).
