Roof doors for flat roofs and rooftop gardens – as a standard product

Roof terraces and gardens are great, but they often lack comfortable access. After years of experience with custom manufacturing, I am introducing standardized glazed roof doors to the market. They will allow access through the roof via a pleasant staircase that will also add light. They will be sliding or tilting, operated manually or with integrated electric motors featuring rain sensors, connection to smart home systems, and security space sensors.

Convenient access to the roof terrace via stairs
"I want to access the terrace and roof herb garden comfortably via stairs; I don't want to climb a ladder or steep windmill steps," often says my customer. Solara roof doors have a length of 3400 mm, which is ideal for a pleasant stair incline and sufficient headroom even for tall individuals. I have designed the width for a standard passage of 700 or 800 mm. The product documentation will also include a recommended design for the stair arm and the shape of the opening.

Excellent thermal insulation and integrated electric motors
We will also include thermal insulation processing and installation into the flat roof construction, including thermal assessments of individual variants, in the product documentation - we consider both concrete ceilings and wooden ceiling construction options. The overall thermal transmittance of the product will range, depending on the glass used, at excellent values of up to Uw 0.9 W/m²K. The documentation will also suggest options for connecting the walkable surface of the terrace.
