To meet the needs of these locations, engineers have developed a special type series designated EFA-SST®-PS (Parking System). These doors consist of a suspension made from aluminum slats 108 mm high, which can be solid, glazed, or ventilated. Since it is also a patented touchless winding of the door leaf into a spiral, there is no mechanical scratching of the slats, ensuring high opening/closing speed, reliability, and long lifespan. Thanks to these parameters, designers and architects have an excellent and, most importantly, reliable helper for closing entrances.

Safety First

All EFAFLEX doors must meet strict safety requirements. To prevent collisions with vehicles or persons, the doors for parking systems are equipped with a safety light curtain in combination with a contact strip at the bottom edge of the door leaf. They can also be equipped with a light grid that is at the level of the door leaf. All of this is in accordance with the applicable standard ČSN EN 13241+A2 (functionality of doors) and others. The EFA-TRONIC control unit, which includes a frequency converter, ensures flawless communication with superior MaR systems, PLC-controlled systems, and automatic barriers along with other safety features. The EFA-SST®-PS doors can be equipped with an electromagnetic lock that prevents unwanted opening of the door when, for example, there is no pallet in a safe position for both cars and, above all, for people, thus preventing free fall into the elevator shaft.

EFA-SST® PS doors are the ideal solution for securing buildings. They open at an exceptional speed of up to 2 m/s and close immediately after a vehicle passes through. This prevents unwanted entry of persons and vehicles into buildings and parking areas. When converted to a daily basis, this amounts to hundreds of opening cycles every day, which the doors handle effortlessly. This significantly exceeds the performance of standard garage doors, which are designed for only a few opening cycles per day.
