With twelve durable metal surfaces in popular shades, five lengths, and three handle variants… the YES! handle allows maximum individuality for every interior, the manufacturer M&T has expanded its options and variants.
The YES! handle offers a wide variety of its design.
The subtle YES! handle is currently gaining popularity among architects and owners of premium projects. This trend prompted the Czech manufacturer M&T to expand its offer for the most universal use. “The YES! handle is available in five lengths ranging from 110 millimeters to 910 millimeters. The shortest variant is suitable for cabinets and smaller control doors, while the longest variant stands out even on massive exterior doors,” says Roman Ulich, the chief designer of M&T, the only Czech manufacturer of designer door and window fittings. For exceptional operating comfort, the handle is available in three grip variants – without a hole, with a hole for two-finger operation, and a hole for the entire hand. As for the placement of the handle on the doors, there are almost no limits to creativity – the YES! handle can be installed vertically or horizontally, at the bottom, top, or in the middle.
The YES! handle is prepared for all types of doors – hinged and sliding, wooden and glass, standard and lockable. The manufacturer M&T has integrated the locking mechanism directly into the handle's construction, in the form of a discreet control segment, which only needs to be turned 90 degrees to secure the door. A simple click of the locking bolt is heard upon use. The locking segment is equipped with a pair of magnets for stabilizing it in its original position. Naturally, there is a solution for emergency opening of the locking segment from outside the locked room.
The entire handle is made of solid brass. “Time-tested solid brass is the most suitable material for manufacturing door fittings as it excels in very high strength, long life, and also adhesion for metal surface treatments,” says Roman Ulich. The YES! handle offers a palette of twelve shades. In addition to galvanic and titanium surfaces, the pronounced aesthetic potential of brass allows the handle to maintain a natural appearance. Its brass surface matures with each touch, changing its shade and acquiring a patina over the years.
The YES! handle is rightly acclaimed in professional competitions across continents – together with the Magnetic system, which operates purely on the principle of magnetic force, it has received the prestigious international Red Dot Design Award and Good Design Award Gold 2020 awarded in Australia. The combination of the YES! handle and the Magnetic system additionally boasts a very long lifespan. “We have repeatedly tested the Magnetic system with the YES! handle in our robotic testing facility for 1,000,000 cycles, without any issues or the need for servicing. Their lifespan is thus up to 17 times longer compared to a door handle and a standard lock,” concludes Roman Ulich from M&T.
