Material & Technology s.r.o. – M&T
The company M&T, a family business of the Ulich brothers based in Dobruška under the Orlické mountains, was founded in 1997 and is currently the only Czech manufacturer of designer door and window fittings. Thanks to its technologically advanced production facilities in its Manufactory, a high degree of manual work, continuous innovations, and a distinctive approach to original author design, its products rank among the European top. A testament to the high quality of M&T fittings is, for example, the RED DOT DESIGN AWARD, which the company received in 2013 for the MAXIMAL and MINIMAL model ranges and recently in 2020 for the innovative M&T magnetic system, whose unique solution was confirmed by the granting of a national patent.

M&T magnetic – a revolutionary system for door control
Currently, the company is bringing an absolute novelty to the market – the innovative M&T magnetic system. Perfect door control without a handle, without a lock, without electronics, without malfunctions. M&T magnetic operates on the principle of very strong magnets located in the door frame, with a counter piece made of magnetic stainless steel embedded in the door leaf. When closing the door, the two parts come together and, through magnetic force, ensure a smooth, almost silent closure, without any projection of any bolt element. The closed door leaf is held in the frame solely by magnetic force, which can be very easily adjusted using a small Allen wrench. The innovative solution of the M&T magnetic system has been confirmed by the granting of a national patent.
