The Central Bohemian Gallery in Kutná Hora opened a guesthouse today

Kutná Hora – The Central Bohemian Gallery (GASK) in Kutná Hora today opened a guesthouse with five rooms for a total of 15 people and launched a reservation system. Interest in accommodation is high, said Alena Sedláčková from the gallery to ČTK.

Each room is inspired by personalities associated with the history of the Jesuit college. Guests will also receive free admission to the gallery, allowing them to visit the permanent exhibition, current exhibitions, and children's playrooms. Prices for accommodation start at 1990 CZK per room per night, but vary according to room size and season. "Some weekends are already fully booked," Sedláčková stated.

The building from the 18th century, where the guesthouse was created, originally served as the economic and operational background of the baroque complex of the Jesuit college. The renovation cost more than 12 million CZK, paid for by the Central Bohemian Region.

The Kutná Hora Central Bohemian Gallery focuses mainly on visual arts of the 20th and 21st centuries. It is located in the historic area of the Jesuit college and, besides exhibition spaces and an educational center, it takes care of publicly accessible monastery gardens, where cultural and social events are held.
