BUILDING OF THE YEAR 2026 presents this year's edition. The 34th edition of the nationwide competition exhibition BUILDING OF THE YEAR features 156 buildings – 150 realizations from all 14 regions of the Czech Republic and 6 international buildings.
The expert jury has already personally visited all registered buildings. Now the public can become acquainted with them.
From the end of August, all this year's realizations will be presented on the BUILDING OF THE YEAR website, and at the same time, voting for the Public Prize of BUILDING OF THE YEAR 2026 will begin.
Each building has its own story. A story of the place, the idea, the people, cooperation, technical solutions, and the realization itself. 156 buildings. 156 stories.
Another important moment will come on September 7, 2026, when the nominations for BUILDING OF THE YEAR 2026 will be announced at the National Technical Museum in Prague.
The titles of BUILDING OF THE YEAR 2026 and other awards of the 34th edition will be ceremonially announced on November 16, 2026, at Rudolfinum in Prague.
