Brno – The development company UDI Group has received a building permit for the second phase of the Urban Park project in the Brno district of Husovice. On the site of the former industrial complex between Husovická, Mostecká, and Svitavská streets, it will build nearly 900 apartments for approximately three billion crowns. The company announced this in a press release. Construction is expected to be completed by 2030.
"Work on the first phase is in full swing and is proceeding according to the established schedule. The project continues the long-term preparation of the area and will complement the developing part of Brno with new housing, services, and quality public spaces. The approved construction includes two multifunctional buildings, public space modifications, new roads, extensive greenery planting, and cooperation with the city district on the revitalization of the adjacent city park," said Jakub Malý on behalf of the development company.
In the first phase, 236 apartments are already being created along with a café and commercial spaces, which are expected to be completed in 2027. The construction of the second phase is also set to finish three years later.
