The competition will resolve the space around Roškot's Theater in Ústí nad Orlicí.

Ústí nad Orlicí – The town hall in Ústí nad Orlicí is preparing for the revitalization of the park at the Roškot Theater. This year, it plans to announce an architectural competition for the design of the entire area. A standard summer stage in the open air should also be created there, said mayor Petr Hájek (the Oušťáci association).

"The park should essentially offer more of a cultural-relaxation space. It is directly connected to the Roškot Theater, where a summer cinema takes place in the summer, and there are concerts as well. The summer stage should receive certain facilities," Hájek stated. The sloped terrain is already being used for these purposes.

The park also lacks play elements for children and adolescents. They should be in a natural spirit.

The park near the theater across the street adjoins the former cemetery by the Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary, which Ústí has adapted into a park. It also includes a chapel dedicated to Pope John Paul II. Since last year, it has been possible to walk from the central Mírové náměstí via Kostelní street through the park by the church to the Roškot Theater and around it to the so-called outskirts.
