On Tuesday, May 21, 2019, at 7:00 PM, the opening of the exhibition Lead Fuchs in the Cage will take place at the Governor's Palace of the Moravian Gallery at Moravské náměstí 1a in Brno. This exhibition was created based on the connection of architectural student competitions Lead Dušan (FA ČVUT), Ještěd in the Cage (FUA TUL), and the Bohuslav Fuchs Award (FA VUT), which are organized by the students themselves to gain an external perspective on architectural education at their schools. They aim to stir up discussion, talk about methodology, tradition and innovations, the environments of individual schools, as well as about the students and teachers themselves. The first stop of this joint initiative was at the Prague Center for Architecture and Urban Planning, and now, with a slight variation, it has arrived at the Moravian Gallery. The best projects awarded by the juries of the individual competitions are accompanied in the exhibition by three different installations from studios, which are also laureates of the mentioned awards in Prague, Liberec, and Brno. Each project is dedicated a postcard with a description, which visitors can take, send, and share their feelings with friends and the whole world.
