Architecture of Libraries and Their Importance in Contemporary Society

The debate is part of the accompanying program of the traveling exhibition (re)Visions of Libraries in the 21st Century: Space-Function-Opportunity. Guests will gather to discuss the topic of library architecture and its current function in public discourse: Ing. L. Nivnická (director of the Jiří Mahen Library in Brno), Prof. Ing. Arch. R. Brychta, Ing. Arch. A. Všetečková, and Z. Horecká Brychtová (librarian from JM Hovorka Library, the winning Library of the Year 2021). The moderator of the entire event will be Ing. Arch. Jan Kratochvíl from the Faculty of Architecture at VUT in Brno.
