The construction of the first maritime port in the Czech Republic - Duchcov Marina - took place on August 16-17, 2014. The realization of the project at the Liptice viewpoint was primarily attended by volunteers from Duchcov and the surrounding area, as well as enthusiasts from across the country. The project, with financial support from the VIA Foundation under the patronage of the town of Duchcov, is organized by Moře Klidu, o.s., and the architectural studio Archwerk.

Duchcov Marina The area of the North Bohemian brown coal basin is undergoing significant changes with the approaching end of mining activities, with a significant share of the reclaimed landscape being occupied by water bodies from flooded mines. The civic association Moře Klidu responds to this feature of the landscape and, instead of half-hearted solutions from mining companies, presents a bold vision of a Central European sea. The plan includes highlighting the features of the local landscape with a series of land art projects.

One such idea is the creation of a "fictitious port" - Marina at the Liptice viewpoint near Duchcov. The wooden structure (which connects to the previous lookout tower - lighthouse near Strupčice) aims to revitalize this space, bring a new atmosphere, and engage local residents by involving them in both the construction and subsequent use of the area as a tourist destination.
