Cycling trip to the most significant construction sites of contemporary Brno with Osamu Okamura (ERA21) and 4AM/Forum for Architecture and Media
In the afternoon, you are invited to a research cycling trip to the most significant construction sites of contemporary Brno (Extension of FFMU, Extension of the Continental Hotel, Janáček Cultural Center, Modifications of Dominican Square and the vegetable market, Parking facility on Panenská Street, Theatre on Orlí - HDL JAMU, Palace CD, Edison Center, Titanium, Spilberk Office Center, AZ-Tower, H-Park, and more) by the Architectural magazine ERA21 and 4AM/Forum for Architecture and Media. The journey will take place with a unique map and live guides. You will experience the presence of the author-architects with your own senses and have an exclusive opportunity to visit some objects. The trip will offer space for discussion and a unique view into the future.
At the same time, there will be a screening of films about Brno architecture, cycling in Brno, and the Urban Interventions project for Brno going on all day at 4AM/Architecture Gallery and Cabinet_4AM. Additionally, throughout the day, there will be space for relaxation while reading architectural magazines and literature amid a packed program.
The event is organized as part of the international day of architecture and in collaboration with the association Kruh.
