Hodonín opened the Bliss Day Spa day spa for 94 million

Hodonín - The construction of the Bliss Day Spa, which opened today in Hodonín, cost more than 94 million crowns. Of that amount, 30 million was covered by a grant, said Martina Trumpešová from the Hodonín city hall to ČTK. The city-owned day spa was previously missing in Hodonín. The new pavilion is expected to help the prosperity of the Hodonín spa as well as tourism in the city.
    The day spa offers services like cryotherapy, phototherapy, salt baths, iodine showers, or a pool. The advantage is that people do not need to stay overnight and only come for the treatment. "Thanks to the new construction, tourism in Hodonín will become more attractive and treatment and relaxation options for patients and the general public have expanded," stated Trumpešová. Additionally, the construction has created dozens of new jobs. "Of which 14 are direct and 40 to 60 indirect," added Trumpešová.
    The spa was originally supposed to cost nearly 120 million crowns. However, the city won a lower price through a public tender. This, along with the saved funds, meant that it did not have to take out as large a loan as anticipated. "The estimated loan of 40 million has been reduced to 26 million, and we will also shorten the repayment period," said Marián Maňák, head of the finance and economics department at the Hodonín city hall.
    Hodonín also postponed the start of construction several times but finally began last summer. "The process was slowed down by complex administration, which caused the start date to be moved several times. Initially, construction was set to begin at the start of last year, then in April, but that did not hold either," said Hodonín's mayor Milana Grauová. However, according to her, it was necessary to start so that the construction work would be completed by August of this year, which was the final deadline for completion due to the granted subsidy.
