Prague - Selection of large development projects in Prague (the developer company Finep today introduced a project in Prague at Opatov, where together with the company Starochodovská they will build the New Opatov neighborhood; in alphabetical order):

Bubny - The development area Bubny-Zátory, located between the Vltavská and Nádraží Holešovice metro stations, is one of the major development areas of the capital city, where a new urban neighborhood is planned to emerge. There is a building freeze on the land. Since 2009, the city has been working on a zoning plan change that will allow construction. The plan could be modified this year. In the area of 110 hectares, 25,000 people are expected to live in the future.

Central Park - The project by CPP Development in Prague's Žižkov, near Parukářka Park, consists of ten tower and several terrace buildings with 547 apartments and non-residential spaces. The buildings were approved in 2008 and 2009.

Centre of New Žižkov - In the location of the former Telecom complex in Prague's Žižkov, approximately 1,000 apartments are set to emerge at a cost of about six billion crowns. The winning project was designed by architect Eva Jiřičná. The developer is Central Group, which owns the land. According to Jiřičná, none of the buildings will exceed 100 meters in height.

Garden Towers - The project in Žižkov includes five eighteen-story towers connected by a six-story base with rooftop gardens. The residential project with 700 apartments was completed by Central Group in 2016.

Masaryk Station - The project by Penta for the construction of a new neighborhood in the city center is currently in the preparatory phase. The revitalization project for the land around Masaryk Station comes from the architectural studio Zaha Hadid Architects. It is supposed to be realized in several phases, with planned completion between 2022 and 2025, and will offer up to 100,000 m2 of new office space, shops, and restaurants.

New Opatov - The developer Finep, in collaboration with Starochodovská, will build the New Opatov neighborhood in Prague's Jižní Město for about five billion crowns. Construction is expected to begin next year, with completion planned for 2026. The new neighborhood near the subway station of the same name will include apartments, offices, commercial spaces, and public areas, including a park. The plan includes 414 apartments in personal and cooperative ownership, and Finep is also considering rental housing.

Rohanský Island - Last October, the director of the Institute of Planning and Development of the capital city of Prague (IPR), Ondřej Boháč, announced that 1,750 new apartments for 3,800 people would be built on Rohanský Island in Prague 8, creating job opportunities for 5,500 people. According to him, construction will start this year, with the main part occurring between 2030 and 2040. A new footbridge to Holešovice and a park of over 100,000 square meters are also planned. Projects such as Rohan City by the Sekyra Group, Nová Invalidovna by Trigema, and the Rustonka office complex by developer J&T Real Estate are already underway in the area.

Smíchov City - The Sekyra Group is planning extensive construction in the area of Smíchov Station. A new office, commercial, and residential center is set to emerge here. The entire Smíchov City project includes 216,099 square meters of land and is expected to accommodate up to 3,300 residents. The northern part, starting at Na Knížecí and primarily intended for housing, will be initiated by the Sekyra Group this year. A terminal will be created at Smíchov Station, allowing transfers between the metro, trams, trains, and suburban connections.

Vysočany - In Vysočany and the surrounding area, several new buildings have been erected on the sites of former industrial facilities (including O2 Arena, which is now located in Libeň). The company Skanska plans to build a new neighborhood on a brownfield site near the Kolbenova metro station. The Institute of Planning and Development (IPR) requires street connectivity of the neighborhood with the nearby area of the former Praga factory, which is also expected to see new construction. According to documentation, Skanska aims to complete the new neighborhood by 2023. The project for a new neighborhood in Vysočany for 40,000 residents was presented by developer companies Codeco, Finep, Imos Development, and CPI Group back in 2009. The Codeco company sold the project to Skanska.

Waltrovka - The redevelopment of the brownfield of the former aircraft engine factory in Jinonice is conceived by the Penta group as a cohesive urban concept. Penta gradually completed the office portion of Waltrovka from 2015 to 2018. This year, it will complete a new urban neighborhood on nearly 170,000 square meters, featuring 700 housing units, family homes, a large park, and civic amenities.

Žižkov City - Sekyra Group envisions a comprehensive revitalization of the Prague - Žižkov freight station, with the development of an urban center covering over 33 hectares. The area will primarily become a residential neighborhood but will also feature extensive spaces mainly for cultural purposes.
