On Monday, December 22, 2014, representatives of the professional community met to draft an open letter to the Minister (MMR), the Mayor, and the representatives of the City of Prague, to which others can still join.

The main message of the open letter is addressing our support for the technical amendment as a guarantee to bridge legislative discontinuities and seek a peaceful solution for a functional PSP and effective communication between the MMR, the city, experts, and the public, which is an essential part of this process.

Prague's building regulations affect the lives of all residents of Prague; therefore, we feel that representatives of other organizations and the broader public should also join this open letter.

The letter also builds on a series of previous press releases, articles, and statements from both the professional and lay public, which share a common goal: to advocate for a document that would permanently bring order to construction matters and improve the quality of the urban environment in Prague.
