Pasohlávky (Brno region) - In the under-construction aquapark in Pasohlávky, which is expected to open to visitors during the summer holidays, workers are already finishing the installation of water attractions. The pool hall is nearly complete, and the sauna world is also close to finishing. The operator of the amusement park Aqualand Moravia has already announced a second round of employee recruitment, employing 82 people year-round and 110 during the season, informed CTK PR manager Renata Klevetová.
The emerging Aqualand Moravia complex near the Novomlýn reservoirs is part of the Pasohlávky Spa and Recreation Zone project and can be visited daily by up to 8,000 people. The investor ŽS Real has invested a billion crowns into the project, with 300 million drawn from the South Moravian Regional Operational Program. The complex will even have more water areas than the largest complex in Čestlice near Prague, totaling 3,000 square meters, some of which will use water from the Mušov geothermal well.
The project is designed for both families with children and people seeking extreme water attractions. The complex will include a swimming pool, children's pool, thermal baths, outdoor and indoor attractions, and Roman baths. There will also be a separate wellness area for relaxation and regeneration and a restaurant. "One of the attractions, unique in the Czech Republic, is two outdoor slides measuring 101 and 80 meters long and wide enough to accommodate a three-person family raft," said investor representative René Kloos.
He added that he collaborates with Petr Hloušek, the scenographer of the Brno City Theatre, on audiovisual projections. "We will utilize interactive video mapping technology," Kloos said, which involves projecting various animations not only onto surfaces but also in space.
Interest in work at the new facility is high, with the operator already recording 1,100 applications. "We are processing them and will invite candidates for interviews in May and June. We are looking for workers in technology and maintenance, attraction operators, but also cooks, gardeners, bus drivers, and seasonal workers," Kloos stated.
For visitors from Brno, a free shuttle bus service is planned, and there will be 350 parking spaces for motorists.
