To: The development of anarcho-structuralism continues! After the successes of the Artefakt workshops (Prague-Kyje 2014) and the Dome of Chaos (Prague-Dejvice 2015), we enter another developmental phase – we will put a bonnet on the structural construction of the stalks – quite literally. A construction called Elephant's Belly will be built in the courtyard of the Museum of Applied Arts of the Moravian Gallery in Brno. Elephant's Belly will be a "permanent" structure made from long stalks of ash/maple/beech connected by steel fittings. A transparent tarp will be stretched over it. The construction will be standing here for about 2 years. It will serve as a shelter for a café that the museum is establishing here. Photos from previous anarcho-structuralist workshops can be found on the FB profile Hut of Architecture. When and where: April 4 - April 10, 2016 next to the UPM building in Brno.
