The Chateau Hotel Sychrov has not yet been sold, Naxos has extended the deadline

Sychrov - The Castle Hotel Sychrov has not yet been sold; one of the interested parties has requested an extension of the deadline, said Luděk Naglmüller from Naxos, the company offering the estate. Investors now have the opportunity to submit their offers until May 3. The owner of the four-star hotel is Regal estate from the S group (formerly Syner). The estate is being offered through Naxos.

The Castle Hotel Sychrov has been for sale for 12 years since its opening. Its construction was partially funded by European Union funds years ago. For years, it was operated by the EuroAgentur Hotels & Travel chain, but the hotel has been closed since last autumn. "We wanted to accommodate all potential interested parties; one interested party asked us for an extension of the deadline to finalize everything necessary," explained Naglmüller about the reasons for the extension of the offer deadline.

The hotel is located next to Sychrov Castle, which is the most visited monument in the Liberec Region. The one who offers the most will acquire it. No minimum price has been set. The hotel, with 86 beds, was opened in April 2007. The modern complex was built on the site of the former riding hall of the Rohan family. The construction, which architecturally harmonizes with the nearby castle, cost more than 152 million crowns, of which 64 million crowns were contributed by the European program for promoting tourism services. A condition for the grant was also the use of alternative energy sources, so the hotel is heated by geothermal wells.

According to information from the commercial register, experts from VGD Appraisal estimated the hotel's value at around 80 million crowns a year ago. The Castle Hotel has 30 rooms ranging from double to quadruple, and even one five-bed room, as well as three suites. The conference hall accommodates up to 140 people. The facility has its own kitchen, restaurant, and wellness area. The sewage is directed to the wastewater treatment plant of the neighboring Sychrov Castle. According to Naglmüller, the property is suitable for a potential transformation into a service housing facility, a community house for seniors, or a retirement home.
