On Thursday, May 2, 2019, at 6:00 PM, there will be a presentation in the VI PER Gallery as part of the Queer Nature exhibition.

Céline Baumann (1984) is a French garden and landscape architect based in Switzerland. She has already worked with a variety of elements reflecting her personal interest in international cultural exchange. She seeks to create a dynamic open space inspired by interactive ecological connections between people and nature. This work is complemented by her research activities and writing, which allows her to explore the collective value of nature and its impact on individuals. Baumann is a fellow at the Akademie Schloss Solitude, and her project Queer Nature was recently selected as part of the open call of the Future Architecture platform. She is a co-founder of Schwesterprojekt, a queer collective that creates temporary art spaces in Basel. Her work on the theme of Queer Nature has been presented at the Museum of Architecture and Design (MAO) in Ljubljana and at the theater festival in Basel. Other projects include collaborations with Tirana Architecture Week and the Oslo Architecture Triennale planned for fall 2019.
