Seven days after finishing our studies at the Faculty of Art and Architecture in Liberec, we founded our own studio, named after the most beautiful word from the Czech-Swedish dictionary. We are Mjölk.
After a few years, our crazy boys' dream became a recognized architectural office. Our architecture is best characterized by Nordic conceptual simplicity, material truthfulness, and youthful “mischievousness.”
We collaborate not only with private investors but also with cities and municipalities. We are interested in what is happening around us. The goal of our work is to understand contexts, reveal the qualities of places, fulfill the deepest desires of our clients, and still have a good time doing it. We feel that good architecture can be done from anywhere. We complement our wide portfolio of projects with teaching at the Liberec Faculty of Architecture and participating in Czech and international workshops and lectures.
