Urban Interventions Trutnov 2016 - Lecture and Discussion

Try to look at our city differently together with us, as if you were here for the first time, or on a visit. Or as if you were about to move to Trutnov again. Instead of automated moves from place to place, try to discover something – to intervene. What bothers you and where? What do you dislike? What would you like to change?

As part of the City Interventions event, several great activities for the general public will take place in Trutnov. We cordially invite you to the first of them, a lecture and discussion about public space in our city with architects from the TUarch association. Architects Michal Rouha from the POVĚTROŇ atelier, Benedikt Markel, Jenda Veisser from ORA will speak. The evening will also include a screening of the excellent documentary Urbanized (USA/UK/2011/G. Hustwit), which explores a wide range of urban projects in twelve cities around the globe, from initiatives affecting massive infrastructure to temporary interventions. Urbanized thus opens a global discussion about the future of our cities.
