We cordially invite you to the 22nd evening of PechaKucha Night Bratislava, subtitled Visegrad edition. The presentation of designers, architects, and visual artists of PechaKucha Night Bratislava* will take place in a new venue. On Thursday, *April 18th at 8:20 PM, we will meet at Cinema Nostalgia, Spoločenský dom Nivy at Súťažná 18. As part of the 22nd PechaKucha Night evening, this time subtitled Visegrad edition, we will welcome artists from Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Hungary, and Poland.

What makes PechaKucha Night special? Each presenter has exactly 6 minutes and 40 seconds for their presentation. This is the time during which they comment on 20 images – of their projects, with each one staying on the projection screen for exactly 20 seconds, no more! This allows the presenting actor to narrate in a lively, engaging, and concise manner.

The PechaKucha Night format was created in 2003 in Tokyo and has since acted as a positive virus for the rest of the world - the PechaKucha Night network now covers over 600 cities! In Bratislava, it has been organized by the non-profit organization PUNKT since 2008. The project was created with financial support from the Ministry of Culture of the Slovak Republic.

Artists participating include - Marián Grolmus, Daniela Olejníková, Peter Puklus (HU), designers - Jan Čumlivski (CZ), Damian Herb, Karolina Kłos (PL), project Ostblok, architectural studios - Atrium and Projektil (CZ), magazine TVOR, alternative guide to Hungary - Subjective Atlas of Hungary presented by Attila Bujdosó (HU), Zuzana Halanová and Daniel Laurinc will introduce the photographic project Afriktivity and Janica Lacova will talk about the culinary project I’m Eating Different.
